By Irene !Hoaes WINDHOEK At the foot of the majestic Erongo Mountains, from which the Erongo region gets its name, lies Tubusis, a small almost forgotten village. Like many areas surrounding the Erongo Mountains, Tubusis (Springbokfontein) is situated in a very scenic area with great potential for tourism, yet not much has happened in this regard. If no other economic potential lies in this area, then surely tourism should be the answer to this impoverished village, as the potential is enormous. The village and surrounding settlements have a population of about 600 to 700 people.
