NFA empowers local coaches

Windhoek The Namibia Football Association’s (NFA) local coaches’ empowerment initiatives continue this week with 37 aspiring coaches attending an Introductory Coaching Course at Football House. The week-long course started Monday and ends on Friday, after which participants will receive certificates of attendance enabling them to quality for the upcoming and sought-after C-License Coaching License course. The instructors, headed by NFA technical Director Klaus Staerk, will also discuss dribbling exercises, planning and arrangement of training sessions and basic passing exercises. The other instructors are Bobby Samaria, Timothy Tjongarero and the 2015 COSAFA Cup winning coach, Ricardo Mannetti. Practical training tips, keeping possession, shooting exercise and youth training will also be covered. Esteemed NFA referees instructor Franciscka Katjaimo will be on hand to share and introduce participants to the Rules of The Game. The 37 participants are: Simon Nuunyango (Falcons FC), Anton Kauapirura (Michelle Mclean), Charles Albert ( Football for Hope), Bricks Kaaronda (OVTC), Angostinho da Costa (SKW), Erasmus Nghiikumbu and Nelson Shipandeni (Amazon FC), Barnabas Kambara (Swakopmund United ), Charles Heibeb (African Lions ), Michael Ochurub and Marcel Hansen (NAMPOL- Otjozondjupa), Ludwig Iipumbu (Mighty Gunners), Quinton Witbeen ( Kom Haal Hulle FC), Fillipus Jesaya (UNAM Khomasdal), Mathews Negumbo (Oshakati United), Gweneth Narises (Home of Good Hope), Park Jong Hee, Titus Johannes, Chang Dug Kim (Kings Kids), Dauda Abdukareem (Berg Aukas), Uatuapehi Tjondu (NAMPOL- Khomas), Kristof Aipanda (NNSU), Otniel Tjaapo (Serllo Academy), Denvor Mouton ( Hellenic FC), Richman Tjiriange (Cattle Country FC), Johannes Nawemab (Real Havana Madrid), Paavo Hamata and Micko Hamata (NDF), Donald Modise, Raphael Haikali and George Haikali (Arcadia FC), Immanuel Tobias (City of Windhoek), Aini Katanga (NAMPOL Women), Jarmyn Ripunda, Ronny Smith and Wedney Nyame (Touch & Go FC) and Jacobus Stein (Swallows FC).
