These American R&B stars who are known for their super-soulful love ballads will be bringing their smooth tunes to Namibia next week as they headline the inaugural Windhoek Draught Live, a new annual music event staged by Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) on behalf of their Original Premium Draught. Selma Neshiko previews the show. Music lovers who enjoy old school music or simply appreciate emotional R&B ballads would definitely remember songs such as I'll Make Love to YouOn Bended Knees and End of The Road, which are among the greatest hits from Boyz II Men. Fans will have a chance to sing along out loud and see these soulful legends up-close on October 30 at the Dr Hage Geingob Stadium. “I’m excited and looking forward to seeing Boys II Men. I'm so ready to just enjoy the live music and let my soul be filled with raw art and vibes. This are the babies of the 90s we talking about. Their music use to be everyone RnB favourite. They remind me of when men use to know the meaning of love and respected women,” says music lover, Sasha Moore. “This is one of the best band group ever and being a RnB lover. Love all their hits which I get to listen when I’m chilled out or upset and often I would cry to all their songs especially “Water Runs Dry”. Next week come already,” says Emily Mbinda. When he first heard of the news, another music supporter, Bashir Prince took to Facebook stating,” I think this what I call a balanced diet in entertainment. P Square was for all, Davido was for students, Trey Songz was for Unam and Poly girls and this time our lovely parents are taking us along. I am so ecstatic I had the privilege to grow to beautiful music like this.” Boyz-II-Men-2 According to one of the organisers of the event, Roux-che Locke, the group is set to arrive in the Capital on October 29.  “We’ve deployed and secured the services of top expert(s) in Disaster Management with international expertise in the hosting of such events. They will work in close collaboration with our National Law Enforcement services. The safety of all our patrons is a top priority for us,” she assures. Boyz II Men remains one of the most truly iconic R&B groups in music history. The group redefined popular R&B and continues to create timeless hits that appeal to fans across all generations. Celebrating their 20th anniversary recently, the band has penned and performed some of the most celebrated classics of the past two decades. The group’s 4 Grammy Awards are just the tip of the iceberg: throughout their 20-year career, Boyz II Men have also won a whopping nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards, three Billboard Awards, and a 2011 MOBO Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
