WINDHOEK - In an attempt to accommodate excess learners who still do not have placement, the Khomas regional education directorate has resorted to placing pupils in tents to address the shortage of classroom spaces in schools. WINDHOEK- The Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) has warned prospective students to be careful, saying this time of the year, bogus institutions are hard at work to scam the public their hard-earned cash for worthless qualifications. WINDHOEK – With only 54 permanent staff members, the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) says it is critically understaffed ahead of national elections later this year. WINDHOEK - The Khomas education directorate has revealed that out of 4 838 learners who sat for Grade 9 examinations in 2018, 1 119 could not be promoted to Grade 10 this year due to failure.
