WINDHOEK - The impact of climate change continues to have devastating effects on countries across the globe, and Namibia has not been spared.

WINDHOEK - The country faces  prolonged dry spells  disturbing the timing and spatial distribution of rainfall for almost all of Namibia despite an early onset of the 2018-19 rain season – which proved to be a false start.

WINDHOEK – The suspension of import and in-transit movement of cloven-hoofed animals or their products from South Africa due to the outbreak of foot-and-mouth diseease (FMD) in that country will hit Namibia’s already struggling dairy industry hard, while significant strain on the beef, pork and mutton markets cannot be ruled out.
