"WINDHOEK – Namibia’s Ambassador to Egypt Andrew Anyanya Intamba died on Tuesday evening, aged 66. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed his passing away in an official statement issued yesterday. “It is with great shock and dismay that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has learnt of the untimely death of Andrew Intamba, the Namibian Ambassador to Egypt, who passed away on 8 April 2014 in the Rhino Park Hospital. The late Intamba joined the Ministry on 20 February 2008,” stated the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Selma Ashipala-Musavayi. The late diplomat, who attended several military and security training courses in Russia, Germany and England, once served as the Director of the National Central Intelligence Services’ Accounting Office.
