Fresh from last weekend's win over Eleven Arrows in the last 16 of the MTC NFA Knockout Cup at Walvis Bay, the Katutura giants are hoping to leapfrog Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) on goal average when they host Tigers at the Khomasdal Stadium in Windhoek on Friday evening (19h00). Five points adrift of log leaders Ramblers who host relegation threatened APS Blue Waters on Saturday, Smithley Engelbrecht's charges cannot afford to slip up at this crucial juncture. Africa need to grab the maximum points at stake if they are to entertain any hopes of wrestling the title from under the noses of both Ramblers and SKW. However, Tigers are no pushovers and can beat the hell out of any opponent on their day but inconsistency has been the order of the day at the Shadumbala-based outfit. The Donkerhoek Boys were stretched to the limit by lower division campaigners Black Hawks last weekend, and can consider themselves seriously lucky to be among the eight teams going into the hat for the quarterfinal draw of the lucrative MTC NFA Cup.
