Bob Marley feature of urban black music month
By Sabina ElagoWINDHOEK- Kapana Soul and Jojo’s Music and Arts Cafe in collaboration with Warehouse Theatre present tribute to Bob Marley tomorrow at Warehouse Theatre and Jojo’s Music and Art Cafe. Onesmus Upindi one of the organisers, says this is part of the monthly black urban music were they chose a candidate for each month. “This month we chose to pay tribute to Bob Marley because it is his birthday month,” says Upindi. He adds that these are going to be shows where a group of people come together to remember who Bob Marley was and what he has done. The activity of the day will start at Zoo Park at ten O’clock  until eleven O’clock in the morning with artists coming together and do what they does best. “Artists of all kinds will be doing a demo of what they do,” informs Upindi. The show will continue at the Warehouse Theatre from 12h00 until late with a  live performance and artist exhibiting their works.  Jojo’s Music sees a non-stop live performance by different artist from eleven O’clock in the morning (11H00) until eleven O’clock in the night (23H00). These shows  bring the raggae fans together to celebrate what they love most,” says Upindi. Ladies  enter for free until seven O’clock (19H00) while gentlemen pay N$ 10 from  four O’clock (16H00) and N$ 30 for all from seven O’clock (19H00) with a discount for those dressed in Rasta attire. “The better dressed the better the discount,” entices Uupindi.
