There are some things that I will probably never understand, until I find myself in certain situations. I’ve made peace with that. I also try not to judge people, because human beings are complex and one can never really know what goes on in another person’s mind. However, there are just some things people do that make you wonder what the hell is wrong with that person.

I am very angry. Actually, I am disgusted and quite frankly, if I could, I would beat the hell out of someone. Over the weekend, I read such a horrific news article that it put me in a sour mood for the rest of the day. It is about this stupid father who has been raping his own biological son – a father raping his own baby son who can’t even talk yet! Truly unbelievable and disturbing.

Even though it is alleged that he did it, the thought of it being a possibility is truly sickening. I don’t know what could possibly overcome a father to even think of attempting such a heinous act on his own flesh and blood – a baby who needs love and protection and for some reason, you turn into his worst nightmare. It’s just hard to comprehend. 

The sad part is that I wish I could say this was an isolated incident or alleged incident but frankly, over the years, we have had some really stupid fathers who just make you wonder what kind of water they drink. To an extent, it speaks volume about the types of people we have in our society. A few rotten apples like this alleged rapist – if you can call him that even – really do make it seem like the country doesn’t believe in real family values, especially fathers.

Both the father and his son have more years ahead of them. The father is reportedly 24-years-old, but I know for sure the baby boy will never be normal anymore. Such a traumatic event surely can’t be forgotten, and the boy will have to grow his whole life knowing that the one person who made him and was supposed to love and protect him damaged him beyond comprehension.

Some fathers are just plain stupid; not even irresponsible, just plain stupid and sick, and there is no amount of reasoning that can ever justify such an act from a father to his own son. If the allegations are true, I hope the father gets the most suitable punishment legally and otherwise.
