Elemotho Sings in South Africa
The Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre's sponsorship made it possible for Elemotho Gaalelekwe Richardo Mosimane, the Namibian musician from the Kalahari, to represent Namibia at the Durban Awesome Africa Music Festival. This will be the first participation in the festival by a Namibian artist. Elemotho composes his own songs in his mother tongue, Setswana, as well as in other Namibian languages and in English. Together with his band, he has been invited to the Eighth Edition of the Awsome Africa Music Festival, taking place in Durban, South Africa, tomorrow, Saturday, at the Royal Hotel Cigar Lounge and on Sunday, October 1 on the Awesome Africa Free Stage.
