2015-07-15Staff Report 2 Windhoek Tekela Investment will host Namibia’s first entrepreneurial expo on August 7-8 at the Western Suburbs Field in Khomasdal. Ndinelao Sheetekela, the organiser, says the event will be focusing on improving the standard of small/semi enterprises by young people to showcase their business talents and creativities. “I strive to enhance, uplift and constantly improve the standard of the entrepreneurial industry in Namibia through this expo,” says Sheetekela. She adds that the main purpose of the expo is to empower the youth to uplift themselves and the standard of businesses in Namibia, to uplift young talents and give them a platform to showcase their skills in a high level of business and to make a significant contribution to the development of the business industry.” The expo promises a lot of opportunities for the young people that are able to identify a business opportunity and turn it into an enterprise. “This will be for young people that are passionate about starting businesses, to be motivated and inspired by others,” emphasises Sheetekela. She says the youth will be coming from different regions in Namibia. “This will serve as an opportunity for tourists to come and see our business capabilities and enjoy the landscape locations Namibia has to offer,” she concludes.
