Go well Bryan, our dearest colleague
"Rest in peace... New Era Publication Corporation this weekend said goodbye to its beloved colleague and friend Bryan Tjombonde. Tjombonde, who was employed as a driver for the corporation, was laid to rest on Saturday at Otjiwarongo Central Cemetery, Otjozondjupa Region, alongside his cousin Basilius Bas Kgobetsi. Tjombonde and Kgobetsi died in a horrific vehicle accident on the road between Okahandja and Otjiwarongo. The same accident claimed the lives of former permanent secretary in the ministry of fisheries Ulitala Hiveluah and three others. Colleagues and friends remembered Tjombonde as a dedicated employee and friendly person who went out of his way to extend a helping hand. In the photos, New Era Publication Corporation employees sing “How great thou art” as they say farewell to Tjombonde at the cemetery. Tjombonde was 40 years old and is survived by his four children – three boys and one girl – a brother, sister and mother. "
