One muses inconclusively in a desperate attempt to grasp and search for an appropriate description of the situation that seems to be facing many, if not most, of the students in some of the institutions of higher learning. Too often, one hears acclamations from the educational authority that more learners have access to education. This may well be the case at primary level, and to a certain degree at secondary level.
