KFC Rundu upgrades to drive-through premises

The KFC branch in Rundu has moved to a drive-through premises, offering ease of access for their patrons without having to stand in a queue.

“Moving KFC Rundu was a strategic decision,” said Ricky Brown, general manager of KFC Namibia.

“Whenever we can, we want to be able to offer our loyal customers a KFC drive-thru experience – and at the new premises, that’s exactly what they are getting.

“Drive-thru is something we now prioritise in terms of new store development,” added Brown “because our customers love ordering this way, and we want to meet those expectations whenever possible”.

KFC Namibia has restaurants across Windhoek as far out as Katima Mulilo, with 20 restaurants in total, and another two opening this year in Gammamsbrug and Klein Windhoek.

Since taking over ownership of the franchise in 2020, KFC Namibia has been creating a buzz in the market, reintroducing the public to the KFC they love and enjoy.

“Having KFC Namibia as part of our Africa portfolio is a great honour,” said Brown, “but it also comes with a huge responsibility – not only to our stakeholders but to our customers, making sure we deliver on excellence at every turn, leaving people feeling happy and satisfied whenever they leave one of our restaurants is a non-negotiable.”
