Learners at St Therese rewarded for hard work
Windhoek St. Therese Senior Secondary School in Tses in the //Kharas region will be granting a number of awards to 30 of its learners who passed with the highest symbols in the April and August examination this year. Learners to be awarded on September 17 at the Roman Catholic Church Hall in Tses are those currently in Grades 8 to 11 who have performed well academically. This is to motivate them to study harder for the year-end examinations. Learners will be awarded certificates and trophies in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, History, Mathematics, Geography, English, Physical Science, Khoekhoegowab, Keyboard and Word Processing, Agriculture, Afrikaans and Life Science. The keynote speaker will be the young entrepreneur, Michael Amushelelo. Milunga Lizazi, Head of Department (HOD) for Social Science at the school, is inviting all the residents in Tses, former learners (alumni) and parents of the learners from all parts of the country, as well as the stakeholders of St. Therese to join upcoming the academic awards ceremony.
