Former minister to be interred over the weekend
Windhoek Former deputy minister of health and social services, Zedekia Mujoro, who died last Friday will be laid to rest at his home village of Okaepe in the Okakarara Constituency, Otjozondjupa Region, on Sunday. Family member, Theo Mujoro confirmed yesterday that Zedekia passed away after a short illness last week Friday at the age of 64. Mujoro served as deputy minister of health from April 1997 to March 2000. From 1993 to 2001, he was a member of the National Council, representing the Usakos Constituency. He also served as vice-chairperson of the National Council from 1993 to May 1997. In 1978 he was ordained as a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia (ELCIN). A memorial service for the late Mujoro was held at Macedonia Lutheran Church in Windhoek on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Ehrenfriede Mujoro, six children and five grandchildren.
