2015-09-22Staff Report 2 Query: Eenhana Magistrate’s Court please put your house in order. How can the magistrate and prosecutors go for lunch from 11h20 to 16h00? This happened on Monday, 14 September 2015. Stop your unbecoming behaviour as some of us had travelled from far to attend court cases, just to sit in the court from 09h00 to 17h00. Response: The Ministry of Justice together with Magistrates Commission have noted the concern. The ministry would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. The inconvenience was caused by lack of magistrates as the only magistrate for Eenhana Magistrate’s Court had to conduct a routine training for newly recruited magistrates who had just reported for duty on that Monday, and this made it impossible to continue with court operations on that day.
