Monthly ‘park and sell’ hits Windhoek
Bank Windhoek in partnership with Windhoek Afrikaans Private School (WAP) has created a platform where dealers and members of the public can sell their vehicles to interested individuals. The Monthly Motor Market was launched in May this year and will take place once a month with the next one taking place this Saturday, 18 July, at Affies Park, Wanderers Sports Complex, in Pioneerspark, Windhoek. Riaan van Rooyen, Head: Corporate Communication and Social Investment at Bank Windhoek said: “The Monthly Motor Market not only aims to make it easy for clients to sell their cars, but also to provide a platform where clients who are in the market for a vehicle can come and shop for a variety of vehicles at one venue. With vehicle sale fraud on the increase, the Monthly Motor Market is a safe way for private individuals to sell their cars. Staff members of Bank Windhoek’s Vehicle and Asset Finance Branch will also be there to assist with advice to sellers and buyers.” Sellers are required to pay a fee of N$250 to park and sell their vehicles. Abie van Wyk of Windhoek Afrikaans Private School, said: “We encourage members of the public to make use of this opportunity to park and sell their cars. You can search for the car you want and compare prices. This is also your chance to negotiate on the sale price and get a bargain on your dream vehicle.” Buyers can visit the Affies Park at Wanderers Sports Complex between 09h00 and 14h00 to hunt for their bargains.
