2006-02-20Staff Report 2 "WINDHOEK For the launching of the independent association ""Art in the House"", an exhibition will be organized at the Gallery of the FNCC from February 20 to March 8, 2006 entitled Mother Nature Namibia. Around 10 Namibian artists will submit one or two artwork(s) on the medium of his/her choice but respecting the following line: every material used in the artwork must be a Namibian element: sand, stones, wood, dried vegetation, natural pigments of colour (the structure of the artwork can be mixed media). On the occasion, the Gallery will be transformed to stick to that theme. Art in the House, an independent association, has as its main aim to promote Namibian art thanks to original events such as public workshops facilitated by artists in Windhoek during the whole year.
