Several unnamed senior players in the Namibian camp were allegedly approached in the foyer of their Novotel Hotel in Accra by a man of Arab origin claiming to represent a Singapore-based betting company. The man wasted little time and knuckled down to serious business, asking the players about the possibility of manipulating the result of Namibia's final Group A match against Guinea tonight.
