The Namibian Dream
I have a dream… A dream for the young to live and believe, to believe in themselves and believe in the future, to have faith and hope in a brighter and divine future. I have a dream… A dream for the young to change for the better, to strive towards being future leaders; leaders with a desire to create opportunities for all before their days fall. I have a dream… A dream that the young will bring the change required for a better tomorrow. A tomorrow without any regrets and sorrow. The change for a Namibia full of possibilities. The change for Africa with immense opportunities. The change for the world with responsibilities I have a dream… A dream for people to be responsible. A dream for people to be accountable. A dream for people to be caring and loving. A dream for people to lend a helping hand to those that lack. I have a dream… A dream that one day the world of poverty will be history. A dream where success would be the only told story; a story to motivate, encourage, and educate the next generation, with joy, peace, love being the ambition. Yes, I have a dream… Martin Luther King had a dream. In his dream for a justice and equality he said: “We cannot walk alone. And as we walk we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead, we cannot turn back”. Let us also not turn back, until we have realised the Namibian Dream. I have a dream. Do you?
