Namibia’s U/19 cricketers gear up for World Cup qualifiers
By Staff Reporter WINDHOEK - Namibia’s U/19 national cricket team is gearing up for the World Cup qualifying games against Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Nigeria, Botswana and Kenya. The team will start a two-day training camp today at the Wanderers grounds in Windhoek. On both days the training sessions are scheduled to take place from 09h00-10h30 and 15h00-17h00. The Namibians will then leave for Zimbabwe on Friday, where they will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against the hosts before leaving for Tanzania on February 12, where they will face Tanzania, Nigeria, Botswana and Kenya. The schedule for the team is as follows: 06/02/2015: Arrive in Zimbabwe 07/02/2015: Rest and Practice 08/02/2015: 1st ODI vs Zimbabwe U/19 09/02/2015: 2nd ODI vs Zimbabwe U/19 10/02/2015: Rest and Practice 11/02/2015: 3rd ODI vs Zimbabwe U/19 12/02/2015: Depart for Tanzania 12/02/2015: Arrive in Tanzania 13/02/2015: Rest and Practice 14/02/2015: 1st ODI vs Tanzania U/19 15/02/2015: 2nd ODI vs Nigeria U/19 16/02/2015: 3rd ODI vs Nigeria U19 17/02/2015: Rest and Practice 18/02/2015: 4th ODI vs Uganda U/19 19/02/2015: 5th ODI vs Kenya U/19 20/02/2015: Depart for Windhoek
