Members of the community looking to buy houses can today visit the National Housing Enterprise Outapi construction site, where 90% of the 81 planned houses have already been completed since the project began in July 2021.
Tuafi Shafombabi, NHE’s acting manager of corporate communications and marketing, said local banks such as First National Bank, Nedbank, Standard Bank and Bank Windhoek will be available on the open day for pre-approvals.
Prospective clients can also then sign of deeds of sale with NHE on the spot, said Shafombabi.
Interested clients are requested to bring along the identification documents, latest payslip or four months’ bank statements, marriage certificate (if applicable) and police declaration, stating that the client does not already have a house.
Acting regional manager of the NHE northern branch Patrick Kaaheke urged all those interested in owning houses in Outapi to show up in big numbers on the open day, which is specifically set to create awareness and provide information to our clients.
To date, the NHE has completed the Keetmanshoop project with 77 houses, the Karibib project with 72 houses, Omaruru with four houses, Okakarara with 40 houses, Ongwediva with 10 houses, Otjiwarongo with 40 houses, Omuthiya with 50 houses, and Okahao with 70 houses.
