2008-04-04Staff Report 2 Kae Matundu-Tjiparuro I CANNOT but add my humble view to the ongoing debate on veterans of the liberation struggle, especially on whether former members of Apartheid South African Defence Force (SADF) and its Namibian territorial extensions, the South West Africa Territory Force (SWATF) and the special unit of South Africa's armed forces in Namibia, which went by the nom de guerre of Koevoet, also constitute veterans of the liberation struggle or not and should thus be accommodated in any project to the benefit of veterans of the liberation struggle. I think it must be clear from the outset that there were two warring and opposing sides during the Namibian liberation struggle, rightly or wrongly so. It is immaterial of what they may have regarded or considered self suffices that the two looked at each other with awe, informed by each respective position vis-??????'?? 2008-04-04Staff Report 2
