Ongos Valley Development (Pty) Ltd, Namibia’s largest single housing project has undergone a visual transformation with a new brand.
This is with the reasoning that the company’s bold vision needs a brand that is both accessible yet memorable. Over the next 15 to 20 years, Ongos Valley is expected to deliver 28 000 housing units onto the market.
A statement from Ongos explained that the new brand embodies the pride in owning own home and a brand that will be recognised by everyone and representing all.
The new Ongos Valley brand was introduced last week Thursday at the Hilton Hotel. Reagon Graig, the chairperson of Ongos Valley Development (Pty) Ltd briefed invited guests on the journey the company has taken over the past seven years before introducing a spectacular brand launch video.
At the rebranding event were Erastus Uutoni, Minister of Urban and Rural Development as well as his deputy, Derek Klazen. Former deputy minister of finance, Natangwe Iithete and a number of captains of industry, including Martin Inkumbi and David Nuyoma, the Chief Executive Officers of Development Bank of Namibia and GIPF respectively, were also among the guests.
