Open Letter to Ben Ulenga
"The High Court has made its decision declaring the outcome of the Keetmanshoop elections null and void and ruled that the agreement signed by both sides is to be implemented. This is an endorsement of the findings of the Audit Panel, appointed by you. You stood up as a political leader and promised the nation that ""if any"" irregularity is found regarding the elections at the Congress, you will step down. At a meeting of the now defunct Central Committee in August last year, you also made a solemn commitment that you only await the outcome of the court case, after which you will step down. This has now happened and you still maintain that you are the president. What happened to your promise to the nation? What happened to your promise to the Central Committee? What happened to your integrity and honesty? Keeping your word, adhering to the signature you put on the agreement, is the basis on which trust is built and leadership is based. Even Judge Muller used this in his judgment. Have the courage of your convictions, if you are a leader, act like one. Stop hiding behind word games. If you care for CoD, step down and work with the others to regain the respect and trust of the members of the party, those who voted for CoD and the Namibian Nation. Elections are 17 months away, a lot of work needs to be done. The harm the party has suffered during the 14 months has to be handled by a committed, honest and dedicated leadership. Be a democrat. German Jean-Claude Jaezuruka"
