Orizza sizzles on third album Music Embassy
Windhoek Namibian multi-genre singer, Hafeni Immanuel, popularly known as Orizza or just Ufanenge Orizza, is set to bring back the kwaito genre with his new offering titled Music Embassy. Under his own label, BO2 Entertainments, Orizza released his powerful kwaito and Afro-pop album with fourteen tracks at the end of last month, which is currently enjoying massive airplays on radio stations and jukeboxes. Exploring the album itself, the first track “Intellectual Hammer” is just a combination of a nice beat with a well-planned chorus and verses. The song is more on motivating the youth to recognize their real friends rather than fake ones. Then comes “Apology,” and you can describe the song as the heart of the album. Although the song has been making waves since its release as a foretaste of what to expect on the album end of last year, it’s still pumping the airwaves. Track four “Eemedi Dange”, which features Exit and Neslow, has a nice feel of kwaito and proves to be a well-collaborated song. Songs such as “Take it or leave it” produced by Young–T, is one of the tracks that also motivate the youth on different social issues, and shows that Orizza can also do Shampo music. The eleventh track on the album “Memory” reminisces on what he went through from primary school until high school at Oshela Senior Secondary School. “I have been busy in the studio since the beginning of last year; it was not easy at all to come up with this album,” says Orizza. On the album Orizza has worked with popular artists such as Elvo, K-Ketu, Neslow, Exit and many more, which makes the album sound so perfect. His album is available at local music outlets such as Antonio’s Arts, Elenga music shop, Okuryangava music shop, Lagtcha complex at his home town Eenhana and other outlets in other towns.
