"By Staff Reporter WINDHOEK This morning thousands of confiscated pirated and counterfeit films, music CD's and videos will be destroyed at the city refuse dump near the University of Namibia, the director of NASCAM, John Max, revealed in a press statement. ""NASCAM together with the Ministry of Finance - Customs and Excise will be destroying these products at Kupferberg outside Windhoek. These counterfeit products were confiscated last year by Customs and Excise. This is a warning to all piracy sellers and other criminals that Namibia will not tolerate any further violations of copyright law,"" said Max, who also invited all Namibian creative people and supporters of the arts in the country to take part in a march tomorrow morning. ""We invite artists and the general public to attend World Intellectual Property Day tomorrow at the Zoo Park garden. This is the first time such a day will be observed in Namibia.
