Two Rehoboth residents killed
MARIENTAL - Two young residents of Rehoboth were murdered at the town over the weekend. Detective Chief Inspector Asser Kapukare of the Namibian Police in the Hardap Region told New Era that at around 04:30 on Saturday the body of 20-year old Mike Lambert was found by his uncle lying in the street. The uncle immediately alerted the police and the local hospital. However, Lambert later died from his stab wounds. A suspect has been arrested and will appear in court soon. Kapukare also confirmed the death of a 19-year old man of Rehoboth over the weekend. According to Kapukare, the body of the young man was discovered next to the Lions Club at Rehoboth by a member of the public after a fight broke out between a group of young people. Herley Human was transported to the Roman Catholic hospital but the victim was already dead. Since no open wounds could be detected on his body it will be transported to Windhoek for a post-mortem. Nobody has yet been arrested in connection with the death and the investigations continue.   By Hoandi !Gaeb
