Congratulations are in order for Sally Boss Madam, who has walked away with the Female Artist of the Year Award at the prestigious 8th edition of the All Scream Youth Awards 2021.
Another one of our favourites who bagged an award is DJ Alba.
The winners were announced virtually yesterday.
The awards honoured the best in entertainment, music, journalism, public relations, fashion, beauty, and content creating. To say Sally and DJ Alba have been working hard lately would be a major understatement.
They have contributed to the growth of the Namibian music industry immensely and continue to leave many people mesmerised by their talents.
The two have successful careers in the music industry and always thrive to bless their fans with nothing but good music and entertainment all the time. DJ Alba also has her own business – talk about a focused woman!
DJ KBoz took to social media to congratulate the two artists and said he is honoured to have produced their music in the past two years.
DJ KBoz and Sally have always kept things civil between them since their divorce. Sally announced their divorce last year and said: “After months of striving to make our marriage work, I’m pained to announce that Kboz and I have decided to end our nine-year union. By no means was this an easy decision to make. Though we both agree that it’s in the best interest of our dear son (LF) and ourselves, we will, however, remain business partners as each one of us has profoundly contributed to each other’s brand”.
Throughout they have maintained a solid friendship and a working relationship for the sake of their child and careers.
Sally said recently a lot of questions have been raised about her and K-Boss splitting, like whether her sound is going to be the same without him and if they’ll continue to work together. On The Tribe Exclusive, Sally made it clear she and K-Boss were friends before they became a couple and she has the utmost respect for him.
She added “No one does it better than him”. Another artist who recently won an award at the awards is Lioness. The award-winning rapper won the Best New Act of the Year and she took to her Instagram page to celebrate her victory.
