Sanlam Cancer Golf Challenge Fight against Cancer
2008-07-22Staff Report 2 "By Staff Reporter WINDHOEK Last Saturday's competition was an individual Stableford competition, one of the preliminary Sanlam charity competitions played on all golf courses in Namibia. Sanlam as the main sponsor with all golfers teeing off in all Sanlam competitions have donated all proceeds to the Cancer Association of Namibia. More than 100 golfers participated in this tournament at the Windhoek Golf and Country Club with the primary aim of assisting Sanlam in their fight against cancer. The winners and the runners-up from all the club competitions qualify for the national final to be held in Windhoek on 2nd of next month. The winner in each division of the national final will then play in the International final at San Lameer, South Africa.
