2016-03-09Staff Report 2 Windhoek A hostel caretaker, charged with molesting schoolboys, was denied bail in the Otjiwarongo Magistrate’s Court last week. Mervin Ngujapeua, 48, a hostel caretaker at Karundu Primary School, faces charges of molesting no less than 10 schoolboys at Karundu Primary School. Ngujapeua, who resides at the school premises, allegedly called the boys to his room at night, mostly when he was on duty during night shift. He would allegedly show the boys pornographic images on his cellphone before engaging in acts of a sexual nature with them. New Era understands that he is a married man. He was arrested last Tuesday and appeared in court before Magistrate Helvi Shilemba on Thursday. Following the first court hearing Ngujapeua was remanded in custody and his case postponed to April 5 for further police investigations. 2016-03-09Staff Report 2
