One of the most notable high-performance coaching platforms, ‘Secure the bag Africa’, will be hosting a six-week online group coaching programme exclusively for young women called The Purpose Accelerator Clinic on 5 June 2021.

The programme will be facilitated by African female coaches, of whom three are based in Namibia.

Speaking to Youth Corner, founder of ‘Secure the bag Africa’, Christine-Rita Abankwah said the platform brings together consultants, professionals, entrepreneurs and coaches from all over Africa and the diaspora to contribute to the African body of knowledge.

“The six-week programme aims to introduce women to the concept of coaching. The programme will help participants to diagnose problem areas that could be holding them back from achieving success in all areas of their lives,” she stressed.

According to Abankwah, the need for this programme was drawn from the fact that many people are unaware of the benefits of coaching.

“Africa has abundant knowledge resources that we fail to tap into. This has become even more pertinent during the Covid-19 pandemic, which has left many people unsure of the paths they are on, and how to reposition themselves in unpredictable times,” she added.

Participants will get tips on how to identify how past traumas are running their lives, reprogramming negative beliefs, crafting a vision from their purpose, understanding their money mindset as well as career and business roadmap.

Five of the ‘Secure the bag Africa’ members who have established themselves in the business and leadership world will educate and guide participants.

The programme will be facilitated by industrial psychologist and certified performance technologist, Mercy Situmbeko; medical scientist and mind power coach, Saara Shatumbu; psychotherapist and lifestyle and wellness coach, Barbara Kamba-Nyathi; Nazlee Mayhew, a money mindset coach; and Christine-Rita Abankwah, who is a management consultant and purpose coach.
