Sinna G, Jean-Michael release first solo albums
WINDHOEK- Two members of the local Hip Hop groups,  Sinna G (061 Crew) and Jean-Michael (RUN N.A.M.S) will be celebrating the release of their first solo albums tonight atLua de Mel.   The two lyricists will celebrate their albums under the theme ‘Cigar & Cognac Party’ whereby Jean-Michael will drop Rise and Shine while rapper Sinna G will drop Stories. Sinna G is well known for his solo-mix tape, released in 2011 called Flashback and his Compilation with 061Music.  Jean-Michael is best known for featuring in the first hit single of the RUN N.A.M.S titled Hangover. Jean-Michael says that doing a solo album is good when trying to put ideas together and his album is about getting something in your life.  “Sometimes when you are in a group you are not free to do much, and sometimes you have your own thoughts and ideas, in this album I’m combining these things.  In my album you will realise that it doesn’t matter where you come from, it’s about wanting to achieve despite what’s against you,” he says.   Sinna G describes his album as a positive album with fresh beats. “It’s a  conscious album, whatever I’m trying to say is something people can relate to and I’m just sharing my experience over the years that I’ve been in the industry,” he says. According to the two artists, the party will not just be entertainment but more of a celebration as it will feature comedians, magicians and musicians. The audience will be entertained by Jean-Michael, Sinna-G, Sean Kamati, 061Music, Tesh, Playshis the Poet, Black Vulcanite, Annette, Lo Ski & Marven Southgate (Unknown Division), Raymondo the Magician and Comedian (Free Your Mind Comedy). The event starts at 18h30 for 19h00 at Lua de Mel, in Klein Windhoek (Across road from old Funky Lab/Hidas Centre) and entrance fee is N$40 at the door.   By Selma Neshiko
