Next Song Night  is at the end April
WINDHOEK- When it comes to music nothing is more pleasing than appreciating live entertainment, and so far there is no other event either than Song Night where live showbiz takes place. Song Night has become one of those nights where various local composers come together and share their mesmerising lyrics and show off their sizzling voices. It takes place every second month with auditions on the first Wednesday of that month while the show itself takes place on the last Wednesday of the month. In two weeks’ time music lovers can look forward to another exciting night filled with high-calibre singers ready to offer popular covers and original songs. The ensuing line up include, Melisa Mukaiwa, a Health Entrepreneur who never sang on stage before but a passionate amateur. She will be singing Beyoncé’s I Am Here and  Mango Groove. nChurch singer, Pride Panashe, who loves writing, will be doing two gospel original songs with his own guitarist. James Itana, a Lifeline Practitioner, is one who you can call Namibia’s own Luther Van Dross. New to the music scene he will be performing two original songs. Toivo Swartz, a Music Lecturer at the Katutura Community Art Centre (KCAC) will perform Damara Nama  original songs. Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA) Nominees duo, Star dust will be singing three of the original tunes from their album with the band.  The next edition of Song Night takes place on April 29 at Theatre School Windhoek, 63 Robert Mugabe Ave.  The show starts at 20h00 and entrance N$50.
