RUNDU – A 15-year-old boy stumbled upon decomposed human remains at Kasoro village in the Mpungu constituency of Kavango West. 
The skeletal remains were discovered last week Friday but the matter was only reported to the police on Sunday. 
The teenage boy Thimotheus Hawanga was searching for lost cattle when he made the discovery. 

The Kavango West police chief, Commissioner Josephat Abel, said the local community was not aware of any missing person. However, police investigations are ongoing to determine the identity of the deceased. 
“If anyone may have information that might lead to the identity of the person, please come forward and assist in this matter. The remains were collected by scene of crime members for further handling,” the commissioner said yesterday.
