2013-11-01Staff Report 2 OLUKONDA-The small town of Olukonda is organising their beauty pageant, Miss Epata 2013, for December 27 at Epata Bar. The Organiser of the beauty pageant, Ndjambula Phillemon, says each year they host a beauty pageant for the residents of Olukonda to have fun together once in a while. “This function is also to increase our business and contribute to the well-being of the community through initiating entertainment activities within our community,” says Ndjambula. He adds that the planning committee for this year’s event is working hard to have a meaningful and timely event, featuring different artists across the country. However, the Miss Epata Planning Committee welcomes all to become sponsor this event which promises to be one of its kind and memorable one in the North. “We are looking for any assistance to make this event a success, be it finances or products, anything sponsorship will be appreciated greatly.” “Sponsorship offers an excellent opportunity to increase the visibility of sponsors’ organisation with a prominent presence at the reception. As a participating sponsor, their company logo will be printed on the event invitation posters and in return for their generosity,” Ndjambula entices sponsors.
