2008-07-04Staff Report 2 Re: Message of Condolence The National Union of Namibian Workers has learnt with great shock and disbelief of the untimely and sudden passing away of Comrade Hawala. Comrade Hawala was the former vice-president of the Namibia National Students' Oganisation, Nanso, and led this organization through its revival phases until his tragic death on 27th June 2008 on his way to the north on a Nanso mission. The workers of our country under the auspices of the NUNW had forged a very close working relationship with Nanso through the visionary leadership of this young son of the Namibian soil and will greatly miss his warmth, charisma and selflessness. To the bereaved family, the NUNW mourns with you during these trying times and to the students and Nanso, may we all carry the struggle forward. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
