Esau Mbako

Desie Heita’s sudden death reached me yesterday late afternoon, like a thief in the night. It certainly is a huge loss not only to New Era Publication Corporation (NEPC), or Namibia, but to humanity in its entirety.
It’s quite saddening and hurting indeed. 

His fresh memory may bring tears in our eyes today, but I am certain that we will honour his memories with a smile someday. As chairperson of the board of directors of NEPC, and the employer of belated and beloved Desie, I wish the entire NEPC family – and indeed his own family - strength in this difficult time of grief, sorrow and bereavement. 

On behalf of NEPC, I herewith extend our deep and heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of our dearest departed colleague, Desie.
May his good soul rest peacefully in eternity
