Vikta Juiceboy’s dare lights up the internet

Rising rapper Victor Moses, popularly known as Vikta Juiceboy, turned his fans into keyboard warriors after a rare dare.

In a short video clip shared on Instagram, which seemed to be a sneak peek of his ‘T-shirt’ music video, the rapper challenged his fans to drop 1 000 comments for him to release the video.

Moments after his post went up, comments started streaming in quick and fast – and within a few minutes, there were over 100 comments.

Many of his fans were seemingly excited about the anticipated release and wanted him to drop the music video as they commented with flame emojis.

Aughhh bruuh, drop it already,” @_.nangula._01 commented.

“Lemme just drop em 1 000 comments; want now; paife ngaha,” @selma_27.09_ weighed in.

“1 000 is a lot, kwetu we want the video already,” @lavyrowland stated.

However, it did not go all that well, as some went on to bash him, claiming he is not a superstar to dare to drop a video.

“You are not a Goat but a Sheep,” @superstar_jobinho commented.

“As if you ain’t gonna drop it; even if you didn’t get that target... I contributed, counted,” @ndilinanyejojo weighed in.

By Wednesday morning, the post had already gained 640 comments and 2 302 likes.

It seems the artist will not drop the music video anytime soon, since the post has a long way to fetch 1 000 comments if he really meant what he said. Juiceboy dropped a lyric video of the song back in March, featuring legendary rapper Tesh Lavo. The song has since garnered 30 000 views on YouTube. Juiceboy’s hit song describes how a girl sleeps in his T-shirt, hence the title ‘T-shirt’.

Last year, the rising rapper won the KFC Namibia 50/50 prize alongside Sensei.

The prize included a live performance and an opportunity to record with Namibia’s music giant Gazza.  Juiceboy’s dare to drop the ‘T-shirt’ music video comes hours after Gazza revealed he will be featuring Nigerian songwriter Ric Hassani on one of the tracks in his Messiah album.

The announcement was received with excitement from his fans, who acclaimed they could not wait for the collaboration with the Nigerian star. Gazza is seemingly determined to uplift young talents, but it is not clear when he will record with Juiceboy.  The singer/rapper teased his fans on Facebook last November when he shared a video of himself with the Namibian music giant.  A collabo by the two will be a great stride by Juiceboy – and his fans will be thrilled, as Gazza is a veteran artist who has won many musical awards. – nalebrity.com
