Watch Works opens at HKI Airport
Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport (HKIA) is to have a new duty-free shop offering premium watches from Omega, Longiness and Breitling. The Diamond Works, which already has a duty-free shop at Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, would launch the Watch Works boutique. Priding itself as “an expert in identifying excellence now showcases timepiece brands of distinction”, The Diamond Works launches the Windhoek boutique on July 3. Former Namibian beauty queen Paulina Malulu has been chosen as the launch ambassador for the duty free shop at HKIA. “Malulu recognises the unmatched quality these brands have to offer, and nothing could look better on this gorgeous African beauty than the metal craftsmanship of these timepieces,” said the company. “The Breitling watch has its very own place among watch brands: the highly exclusive ‘stronghold’ of technical watches, mainly chronographs. A longstanding partner of aviation, a field where reliability and precision play a vital role, the brand has always devoted premier importance to the quality of its products, designed to withstand intensive use in the most trying conditions. “Dive into the Longines Universe, and discover the values and philosophy of the winged hourglass brand; the events, celebrities and lifestyle the custodians of these timepieces live. Omega, the first watch on the moon, timepiece engineering supporting our commitment to fined excellence,” said the statement.
