2008-07-23Staff Report 2 "By Staff Reporter WINDHOEK Four-year-old Adriana Jacobs went missing from her home in Katutura's Soweto suburb on Monday 30 June, between 12h00 and 12h30. After a three-week search failed to locate the missing child, the family has decided to offer a reward of N$5 000 to anyone with information regarding her whereabouts. The girl's mother, Simone Jacobs, said Adriana had gone to visit a younger friend at the neighbour's house, but was found to be missing when she started looking for Adriana at around two that afternoon. After a fruitless search for the girl in the neighbourhood, the family immediately reported the case to the police. ""We searched for her wherever we could, but no-one seems to have seen or heard about her,"" said a distraught Jacobs. ""I think she is still alive; I hope she is still alive. She must just come back home."" According to the Namibian Police, the suspect entered Ruiter's room, locked the door from the inside, and raped her. - Police report that Uarangisa Tjambiru is suspected to have stabbed Vemutarera Tjambiru (31) in the neck and on her back with a broken bottle last Friday. Both are employees at the Sierra Kafama Lodge in the Otjinungua area. It is alleged that a quarrel broke out between the two before the incident took place.
