Young T to release second album
"Windhoek Young talented singer, Tulina Ndafyaalako, also known as Young T, is gearing to release his second studio album, The Time of Merchandise, next week. The upcoming project will be Young T’s second full-length album as an independent artist. With The Time of Merchandise, Young T aim is to change urban culture by inspiring and challenging listeners to “be exceptional for the benefit of others,” he says. Armed with a deeper resolve after working with different music producers, productions and experiencing a trial and tribulations, he hopes to bring life to his supporters and others through music and various art forms. “I don’t normally think about genres when creating music because I feel like when you think about the genres, it will limit the certain sound of the song and the music creativity,” says he adding that his talent in music has improved a lot and fans and other music lovers must expect a different version of his music. “On this album, I have deepened up the sound of my songs and it’s more matured than my previous album which was Philosophical Pages. I am also featuring one of the South African top singers Speedy, which is a great improvement from an upcoming artist,” explains Young T. His new single, I let you Go, raving social networks, was released some weeks ago. The song got up to 1000 listeners just within three hours of its release. “I received so many text messages and phone calls from people complimenting me and recommending me for a job well done,” he says. He adds that the song is a break up song and a song that admitting a let go of someone that you truly love and you have to break up due to different reasons. Another song on the album, Numbers, talks about money and love. Young T also shot a video of this song which was released on Tuesday. The video is shot by Basement Films. Another song on the album, Walata, featuring Speedy talks about his fame and once famous how he started ignoring the girl that he used to love. The concept of the song is not to forget where you come from. With his own music production, UGU Audio, Young T also signed a deal with the Mshasho Production to work on different business project. “One of the benefits I got from this production is when I featured Speedy. If it was not for Mshasho, I could not have gone so far by featuring an international artist,” he says. This year he will be shooting a video of the songs I let you go and Wame at his village in Ongha, Ohangwena region. "
