2015-04-08Staff Report 2 WINDHOEK - It is that time of the year again when over 1 000 young footballers from all over Namibia excitedly anticipate the annual Retirement Fund Solutions-SKW-Wecke & Voigts youth tournament, at the SKW Stadium on April 10-12. This is Retirement Fund Solutions’ 9th year as main sponsor of the prestigious event and the company will invest N$20 000 to ensure the event once again creates a platform for football stars of tomorrow to showcase their talent. “Over the years we have seen this tournament grow in stature and it is pleasing to note that some of the leading footballers in Namibia have had the opportunity to hone their skills at the tournament before going on to become household names in local football.” “For a long time now we have maintained that without corporate support at grass-roots level, proper football mentorship and development would remain only a dream for many of our young and ambitious footballers. Hence we welcome the opportunity to continue as the main sponsor of this event for the 9th consecutive year,” said Kai Friedrich, Director of Retirement Funds Solutions.
