Miss Youth Namibia 2015 to empower, inspire youths
WINDHOEK- A delighted Suoma Nuunyango (22), who has been crowned Miss Youth Namibia 2015,  says she will use her to empower, mobilise and inspire other youths. A well-organised beauty pageant at the Nampower Convention Centre on Saturday night was the hive and hype of entertainment when eleven young models took to the catwalk competing against one another and showcasing their beauty, intelligence and self confidence under the theme “Youth Celebrating 25 years of Successful Independence and Democracy.” Suoma says the competition was fair, and the pageant provided the young models with a platform showcase their modeling talents. “My mission is simply to run along with the youth and help solve political and social issues in the best way I can during my reign. I am a creative person and I will let them guide me and help me initiate youthful activities in different areas of Namibia,” says Suoma. She adds that her main focus as a student is to motivate fellows to study smarter and help them realise the essence of being educated. Suoma, won Miss Vilakasi last year, and was Miss Tourism Namibia 2014 second runner- up. “I believe I won the title by being myself and having believed that God will help me get a plate form to materialize my dreams and serve societies around the country,” shes says. The main objective for Miss Youth Namibia is to identify a young woman who will serve as an ambassador for the National Youth Council and the youth in general. She has to encourage young women endowed with beauty to make use of this gift, and other talents they possess, for a worthy cause, and to give as many young ladies as possible a chance to enrich their personalities and knowledge, improve their appearance, poise and posture, and to especially further improve their human relationships.
