KATIMA MULILO – The police in Zambezi are investigating a case of attempted murder and robbery after a 50-year-old Zambian man was assaulted and suspects cut off the tip of his tongue and stole N$100 from him. 

The incident happened on Friday at around 03h00 at Sibbinda, in the Zambezi region. “It is alleged that the suspects kicked the 50-year-old Zambian male victim and when he fell down, they cut a tip of his tongue and stole his cash amount of N$100. The victim is in a stable condition and receiving medical treatment at Katima Mulilo dental clinic,” said the police. 

According to the police, one of the suspects is believed to be an Angolan male but no arrests were made so far.

Investigations are underway.
