Maranatha drops ‘There is Hope’ visuals

Gospel artist of this year in the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMAs) Maranatha has launched her latest single titled ‘There is Hope’, complemented by a music video.

The music video premiered recently at the Royal Taste African Guesthouse in Olympia, under D-Naff Entertainment.
During the premiere, Maranatha says she wrote the song for everyone affected by Covid-19. “Some have lost loved ones, others have lost their jobs and livelihood. I wrote this song to inspire and motivate everyone not to lose hope and faith, knowing that we will pull through regardless of the pandemic,” says Maranatha, adding that the song with a gospel feel will touch many hearts.

The single was produced by two producers of Moises Domingo and Mapalo Mapalo. The song is now available for download on iTunes, as well as DonluAfrica, and the video is available on YouTube. “It can be requested for airplay at all radio stations in the country,” said Maranatha.

Talking about the music video, Maranatha says it was shot during the first national lockdown in her home in Suiderhof. “Although due to the Covid-19 regulations, we had to pull through all sort of things in shooting the video and had to make many adjustments to it, yet the video came out well. The concept in the video addresses issues that many are facing during the pandemic,” Maranatha explained.
