Koch acquitted for rape, guilty of child trafficking

WINDHOEK - Bertus Koch, the DRC settlement of Swakopmund resident accused of child trafficking and rape, alternatively committing an immoral act with a child under the age of 16 was on Tuesday convicted on the trafficking count, acquitted on the rape charge, but convicted on the alternative charge by High Court Judge President and Deputy Chief Justice Petrus Damaseb.

Life imprisonment for Tses rapist and killer

WINDHOEK – Jesaja Boois, 43, a resident of Tses in the Keetmanshoop district was on Monday sentenced to life imprisonment on a conviction of murder, 20 years on a conviction rape, one year on a conviction of assault by threat and one year in jail on a conviction of defeating or attempting to defeat the course of justice by the Windhoek High Court.
