Dj Tira to rock Desert summer Festival 2019

‘Fishrot’ lawyers fined for illegal entry

WINDHOEK - South African prominent lawyers who were in the country to represent the ‘Fishrot Six’ were convicted on Friday in Windhoek Magistrate’s Court for entering the country without work permits and ordered to pay a fine of N$10 000 each or consequently 18-months-imprisonment respectively.

Amend Act on special voting – SADC observers

WINDHOEK- The Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Electoral Observation Mission (SEOM) has recommended the National Assembly to consider amending the Electoral Act to ensure the votes from special voting are counted together with those from the main election, in order to minimise speculation and undue influence on voters.
