Ministry initiates dignity project  for learners

RUNDU - Executive Director in the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture Sanet Steenkamp says N$3.6 million will be spent on a dignity project whereby not only girls will benefit from sanitary pads but boys will also get to buy soap and other sanitary products to improve their hygiene.

Councillor wants MET office closure at Ndiyona halted

China sends condolences for ex-VP Iyambo

Speak to workers themselves, unions tell PM

WINDHOEK – The country’s two largest civil servant unions have told Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila that they do not have a problem with a one-off two percent voluntary contribution by civil servants to the drought coffers, provided that civil servants agree to it themselves.

NSFAF loan applicants demand funding for all

WINDHOEK – A large crowd of tertiary students staged a peaceful demonstration in Windhoek on Wednesday, demanding from the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) and the minister of higher education that all qualified and eligible students be funded to further pursue their studies.
